Two activities aimed at young mothers supported by the institution: Course on Active Job Search Techniques and Entrepreneurship; and Gender Equality Workshop.

In June 2015, the High Commission for Migration funded the development of financial education workshops for technicians who support migrant populations.

Support for the MIND2You Project: A social project focused on people with acquired disabilities or reduced capabilities, with the fundamental objectives of ensuring the inclusion and improving the quality of life of these people, as well as supporting their families.

Actions were carried out in three schools in the municipality of Loures, as part of the project Não te Risques do Mundo (Don't Take Risks in the World), organised by the Youth Office/Department of Culture, Sport and Youth of the Loures Municipal Council:

  • 2 Workshops on Employability and Financial Education. Primary School 2,3 Alto dos Moinhos – Catujal
  • Financial Education Programme. Camarate Secondary School.

Financial Education Workshop for Families; Financial Education Course for Technicians

The Financial Inclusion Education for Citizens with Special Educational Needs project aimed to promote the development of financial and social skills that facilitate autonomy processes.

The project was aimed at trainees at the Vocational Training Centre and employees in sheltered employment at Curva Quatro, and was funded by Resiquímica.

AESS attended the Employment and Entrepreneurship Fair at Fornos de Algodres Secondary School.

A Workshop on Active Job Search Techniques was held for the long-term unemployed and recipients of social integration income (RSI).

Nine Financial Education Workshops were held for 10th grade classes from three vocational courses.

Conducting four workshops on financial education for students in their final year of secondary school.

On 11 January (2018), we began the activities of our 1st ERASMUS+ Project, coordinated by Windmill.

This project opened on the 10th and will run until 18 January in Lisbon. Its main themes will be Media Literacy and Financial Literacy.

It will be attended by young people from Portugal and eight other European Union countries.

As part of the project Use your time creatively, from July 2021 to 2022 we will begin topics related to sustainability, the environment, architecture and others included in the Erasmus project.

Organisation and implementation of an intergenerational activity between school children and residents of the Santa Bárbara Complex. The aim was to promote volunteering as an exercise in citizenship and to promote values of ethics and solidarity.
