Project No. 2023-2-PL01-KA210-VET-000171223 co-financed by the European Union.
We are pleased to announce that our project „Career eMerge: Integration of digital consulting with professional development” received funding under the Erasmus+, education and vocational education, action 2 program.
The project will be implemented in a transnational partnership with AESS – Associação para o Desenvolvimento de uma Economia Solidária e Sustentável (Portugal).
The main aim of the project is to adapt vocational education and training to the changing labor market by developing tools for the work of career advisors.
The implementation of this project will contribute to improving the work of career advisors by developing tools supporting their daily work, which will be developed in a transnational partnership within the established teams. Work on developing the tools will be carried out in the project within working groups both in Poland and Portugal.
On May 6, 2024 in Lisbon (Portugal) an inaugural meeting (Kick-off Meeting) was held as part of the project Career eMerge. Project partners met to discuss the main objectives, timetable of activities and scope of work related to the development of the online Career eMerge tool and the Mentoring Program for career advisors supporting NEET youth.
During the meeting, the key assumptions of the project were presented, tasks were divided among partners and the next steps in its implementation were determined. The discussions focused on work methodology, challenges related to career counseling for young people and the possibilities of using modern technologies in the NEET activation process.
The Kick-off Meeting was an important step in building international cooperation and effective implementation of the project goals. Subsequent meetings and activities will aim to develop innovative tools supporting young people on the labor market.
From July 2-5, 2024, working meetings on the project were held with the participation of career advisors from Poland and Portugal. The working groups included three meetings during which career advisors: learned about the assumptions of the project, learned about the initial concept of the project and tools: online Career eMerge and the Mentoring Program for career advisors in the field of professional activation NEET, and exchanged experiences in working with people from the NEET category, they learned about work methods and tools in both Poland and Portugal and created „small” partnerships consisting of one career advisor from Poland and one advisor from Portugal.
Working groups organized in Portugal (Lisbon) aimed to explore the issue of career counseling for NEET youth and develop feedback and assumptions for tools supporting their professional activation. The meetings were part of the Career eMerge project and aimed to exchange good practices, test digital consulting methods and identify key challenges related to NEET integration in the labor market. The key was to establish further stages of work, its division, and principles of work in small partnerships on developing effective and efficient tools within the project. Working groups were held on 06/08/2024 – 10/08/2024 in Lisbon, Portugal.
